Recruitment opened last week for two Police Scotland Assistant Chief Constables to fill vacancies this year.

There is already an existing vacancy and another expected later this year, both due to anticipated retirements.

The job avert reads that BAME and women applicants will be “particularly welcome”.

The original closing date was Thursday 16 April 2020. The salary for the position is £123,804.
