Derbyshire PCSO jailed for offences of voyeurism and indecent images

James Land was jailed yesterday for a string of eleven offences.

The eleven offences included three counts of making indecent images, one count of possessing extreme images, six counts of voyeurism and one count of possession of prohibited images of children.

He was arrested in May 2021 after the force identified that he had made indecent images and he was immediately suspended from duty.

Deputy Chief Constable Kate Meynell said: "He was arrested and suspended at the earliest opportunity and gross misconduct proceedings are continuing now that the criminal case is concluded.

“We will seek to place him on the barred list, which will prevent him from working for other police forces and within other certain professions.”
