I get the concept of such initiatives but perhaps some onus should be put back onto individuals not to get themselves so drunk that they need someone to look after them. That is their own fault and no one elses. Better education around drinking, enforcement for venues serving drunks, and more police resources put on visible NTE patrols is what is needed. We should not be relying on volunteers to do such work.
