Give this PCC some credit for what amounts to a crime prevention initiative, rather than the politically correct diversity nonesense of many of his colleague PCC's. But then he was a special constable, wore the uniform and did the job, so perhaps he is taking a more realistic view of what his duties involve. Rather than the prancing and posing of the vast majority of CC's with their ever growing empires, staff numbers and overworked tea and biscuits logistics officers for the never ending committee meetings.
