It would be interesting to know more about the background of this case. I doubt very much that this young man is a crazed loyalist gangster. Yet drive around parts of Belfast and Londonderry and there are a plethora of flags and murals depicting modern support for modern republican terrorists and terrorism. Same of course for the Orange side. Or drop into any Sinn Fein councillor or MLA office and see flags, banners and emblems supporting terrorists. Funny old world in which we live.....
